Connect Receiver

  • Connect the receiver to your display as shown below. Then turn the receiver on:

Screen Sharing with Transmitter

Windows / macOS / Linux

Note

The transmitter allows easy mirroring of your screen. However, if you'd prefer to mirror your content without a transmitter, click here.

  • Connect the transmitter to one of your computer’s USB ports. Then connect the included HDMI cable. Screen sharing starts automatically.

Connect Transmitter to Notebooks with USB-C

USB C Digital AV Multiport Adapter

For MacBooks or notebooks with only a USB-C port, it's still possible to connect the transmitter using a multiport adapter from Apple or Satechi.

When the receiver and transmitter are connected correctly, the start screen is displayed and the large button on the transmitter lights up red. If your transmitter is not yet paired, check the receiver and re-pair the transmitter with the receiver.

You must enable USB debugging once, then connect the transmitter and press the main button.

  • Open Settings. Select About phone.

  • Now tap Build number quickly seven times in a row. After the seventh tap, the Developer options menu appears in Settings.

  • In Developer options, activate the USB debugging option and confirm with OK.

  • Switch the transmitter to Mobile mode.

  • Connect the USB cable on the underside of the transmitter to a USB power source (5V1A), e.g. the power adapter of your Android device. Then connect your Android device to the USB port of the transmitter.

When the receiver and transmitter are connected correctly, the start screen is displayed and the large button on the transmitter lights up red. If your transmitter is not yet paired, check the receiver and re-pair the transmitter with the receiver.

Connect iOS Device

  • To share your screen, simply press the red main button.

  • When the following message appears, check Don't show again and choose START NOW.

  • Connect the transmitter to a USB port (5V1A) or to the power adapter of your Apple device. Then connect your iOS device to the USB port of the transmitter.

  • When the following message appears, select Trust and, if prompted, enter your device code:

Screen Sharing Without Transmitter

With QuattroPod, you have two options without using the transmitter:

  • If you just want to share your screen quickly, you can use the built-in screen sharing functionality of your device or streaming protocols based on the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) principle. No app download is required!

  • The free QuattroPod app provides an intuitive interface for screen sharing from your Android device.

  • On your device, look for the SSID displayed on the screen:

Connect App to QuattroPod

If you have correctly connected the QuattroPod, the following start screen will appear:

  • Connect your Android device to the QuattroPod, either using the QuattroPod's SSID or the same Wi-Fi or LAN infrastructure the QuattroPod is connected to:

  • Open the QuattroPod app on your Android device. On the first launch, you must grant permission for the app to display over other apps. Select OK.

  • Enable the Grant Permission option, then press the Back button on your Android device to return to the app.

  • To select the desired QuattroPod, press Search Device:.

  • Select your QuattroPod.

When the app is correctly connected to the receiver, the large button on the transmitter lights up red. To share your screen, simply press the red main button.

  • When the following message appears, select START NOW.

  • During transmission, the transmitter lights up white and the icon in the top left rotates.

  • If audio transmission is desired, the Bluetooth pairing must be accepted.

Your Android device is now displayed on screen. To stop sharing, simply press the main button again or close the app.
