Connect Receiver¶
- Connect the receiver to your screen as shown below. Then switch on the receiver:
The following start page will appear on your screen:
Screen Sharing with Transmitter¶
Windows / macOS / Linux¶
Note
The transmitter allows easy mirroring of your screen. However, if you prefer to mirror your content without a transmitter, click here.
- Connect the transmitter to one of the USB ports of your computer. Then connect the supplied HDMI cable. The screen sharing will start automatically.
Connecting transmitter to notebooks with USB-C
On MacBooks or notebooks that only have a USB-C port, it is still possible to connect the transmitter using a multiport adapter from Apple or Satechi.
If the receiver and transmitter are connected correctly, the start page appears on the screen and the large button on the transmitter lights up red. If your transmitter is not yet activated, check the receiver and pair the transmitter with the receiver again.
- To share your screen, simply press the red main button.
Android with Transmitter¶
Note
The transmitter allows easy mirroring of your screen. However, if you prefer to mirror your content without a transmitter, click here.
You must enable USB debugging once, then connect the transmitter and press the main button.
Enable USB debugging on Android
This guide will take you step-by-step through enabling USB debugging.
- Open
Settings
. SelectAbout Phone

- Now tap the
Build number
entry quickly seven times in a row. After the seventh tap, theDeveloper options
menu will appear in the settings.
- In the
Developer options
activateUSB debugging
and confirm withOK
.

Switch the transmitter to
Mobile
mode. -
Connect the USB cable on the bottom of the transmitter to a USB power source (5V 1A), for example to the power supply of your Android device. Then connect your Android device to the USB port of the transmitter.
If the receiver and transmitter are connected correctly, the start page appears on the screen and the large button on the transmitter lights up red. If your transmitter is not yet activated, check the receiver and pair the transmitter with the receiver again.
- To share your screen, simply press the red main button.
- If the following message appears, check
Do not show again
and selectSTART NOW
.
iOS with Transmitter¶
Note
The transmitter allows easy mirroring of your screen. However, if you prefer to mirror your content without a transmitter, click here.
- Connect the transmitter to a USB port (5V 1A) or to the power adapter of your Apple device. Then connect your iOS device to the USB port of the transmitter.
- If the following message appears, select
Trust
and if prompted, enter the device passcode:
If the receiver and transmitter are connected correctly, the start page appears on the screen and the large button on the transmitter lights up red. If your transmitter is not yet activated, check the receiver and pair the transmitter with the receiver again.
- To share your screen, simply press the red main button.
Screen Sharing Without Transmitter¶
With QuattroPod you have two options available without the transmitter:

If you just want to quickly share your screen, you can start right away following the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) principle by using the built-in screen sharing functionality of your device or streaming protocols. This means in this case you do not need to download any app!

The free QuattroPod app offers you an intuitive interface for screen sharing your Android device.
a) Streaming Protocols¶
All common streaming protocols are supported. Detailed guides for your preferred protocol can be found at the following links:

b) The QuattroPod App on Android¶
- Look for the SSID shown on the screen on your device:
Install App¶
Search for the QuattroPod app in the Google Play Store and install it from there:
Connect App with QuattroPod¶
If you have properly connected the QuattroPod, the following start page will appear on the screen:
- Connect your Android device to the QuattroPod, either with the SSID of the QuattroPod or with the same Wi-Fi or LAN infrastructure to which the QuattroPod is connected:
- Now open the QuattroPod app on your Android device. On the first launch, you must approve once that the app can show over other apps you use. Choose
OK
.
- Enable the
Grant permission
option, then press theBack
button on your Android device to return to the app.
- To select the desired QuattroPod, press
Search Device:
.
- Select your QuattroPod.
If the app is connected correctly to the receiver, the large button on the transmitter lights up red. To share your screen, simply press the red main button.
- If the following message appears, select
START NOW
.
- While sharing, the transmitter lights up white and the icon spins at the top left.
- If audio transmission is desired, Bluetooth pairing must be accepted.
