Setup¶
- Connect the receiver of the Cast Go! to the HDMI input of your display device. For power supply, connect the supplied USB C charging cable to a USB power outlet that provides the minimum current 7.5W (5V/1.5A):
To find out exactly which setup is best suited for you, please carefully read our Setup Recommendations.
When setting up the Cast Go! in the room, please check the recommended conditions:
- Max. 10 meters distance from the Cast Go! receiver to the access point as well as from the Cast Go! receiver to the transmitter or to the end devices. Please check the signal strength during setup. Between -40 dBm and -50 dBm is optimal.
- A so-called line of sight from the Cast Go! receiver to the access point and to the end devices with as few obstacles as possible. Avoid objects directly next to the Cast Go! receiver that absorb or reflect Wi-Fi signals, for example: walls, metal surfaces, reflective surfaces, and other electronic devices, etc.

Screen Transmission in Type-C Transmitter Mode¶
Note
The transmitter enables easy mirroring of your screen. However, if you prefer to mirror your content without a transmitter, click here.
- Connect the transmitter together with the Type-C adapter to a USB-C port of your device:
- To transmit your screen, simply press the blue main button:
Screen Transmission in HDMI Transmitter Mode¶

- Remove the Type-C adapter from the transmitter. Connect the transmitter to an HDMI port of your device. For power supply of the transmitter, connect the supplied USB charging cable to the transmitter and a USB-A port.
- To transmit your screen, simply press the blue main button.
Lightning to HDMI Adapter¶

You have the option to transmit iOS devices using a Lightning to HDMI adapter. Please note that this adapter is not included with Cast Go!.
Screen Transmission Without Transmitter¶
With Cast Go! you have two options without the transmitter:

If you just want to quickly transmit your screen, you can get started immediately following the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) principle by using the built-in screen transmission functionality of your device or streaming protocols. This means in this case you don’t need to download any app at all!

The free QuattroPod App offers you an intuitive interface for screen transmission of your Android device.
a) Streaming Protocols¶
All common streaming protocols are supported. Comprehensive guides for your desired protocol can be found at the following links:

b) The QuattroPod App on Android¶
Install the App¶
Search for the QuattroPod app in the Google Play Store and install it from there:
Connect the App with QuattroPod¶
- Connect your Android device to the Cast Go!, either with the Cast Go! SSID or with the same Wi-Fi infrastructure to which the Cast Go! is connected:
- Now open the QuattroPod app on your Android device. On the first launch of the app, you need to allow the app to display over other apps you are using. Select
OK
.
- Turn on the menu item

, then press theBack
button on your Android device to return to the app.
- To select the desired Cast Go!, press
Search Device:

- Select your Cast Go!.
When the app is properly connected to the receiver, the large button on the transmitter lights up red. To transmit your content, simply press the red transmitter button.
- When the following message appears, select
START NOW
.
- While transmitting, the transmitter lights up white and the icon spins in the top left.
- If audio transmission is desired, Bluetooth pairing must be accepted.
Your Android device is now displayed on the screen. To stop transmitting, simply press the transmitter button again or close the app.
